Run your school on edunile, step by step.
Short, task-focused walkthroughs for the workflows you use most: signup, fees, attendance, report cards. Every guide shows you the screen and circles exactly where to click.
Setup
- Proprietor
Sign up and create your school workspace
Open an edunile account for your school in about five minutes. By the end you'll have your own school website address and a login as the school owner.
- Admin
Set up your academic session and terms
Tell edunile when your school year starts and ends, and split it into terms. Almost everything else in the system (attendance, fees, report cards) is tied to this, so it's the first thing to set up.
- Bursar
Set up fees first: bill parents in about 20 minutes
Start with what your school needs most: your classes, your students and what each class pays. Send every parent a bill they can pay from their phone, and add the rest of the school later.
- Admin
Create classes and assign teachers
Add the classes your school runs (JSS 1, Primary 4, etc.), give each one a section, and pick the teacher in charge. Everything else (students, attendance, fees, report cards) fits inside these classes.
- Admin
Set up classes and subjects from a template
Create every class and subject your school runs in one go, from the standard list for your type of school. edunile shows you exactly what it will add before it saves anything, and never touches what you already have.
- Admin
Edit, archive or delete a class
Change a class's teacher, level or capacity, and what to do when edunile won't let you delete a class that still has students or records attached.

Let edunile support into your school
When you need help, you can let the edunile team sign in to your school for a few hours or days. Here is how to turn it on, what support can and cannot do, and how you see everything they changed.
Students
Staff
- Admin
Add staff and assign roles
Invite the teachers and non-teaching staff who work at your school, choose what each person can see, and fix an invite that didn't arrive.
- Admin
Import staff from a spreadsheet
Invite many teachers or non-teaching staff in one go by uploading a CSV or Excel file, instead of inviting each person by hand.
- Admin
Remove someone who has left the school
When a teacher or member of staff leaves, or is let go, remove them from the school. They lose access straight away, their records stay exactly as they are, and you can bring them back later.
Fees
- Bursar
Set up fees for a term
Define the fees you charge this term (tuition, books, uniforms) and send the bills to the right classes in one go.
- Bursar
Record a payment made in cash or by transfer
A parent paid at the school office, by bank transfer or on the POS. Here is how to put that payment on their account so the balance is right.

Your online collection limit, and how to raise it
edunile limits how much a school collects online in any 30 days until it has confirmed its registration. Here is what counts, where to see your limit, and how to raise it. A Business Name is fine.
